Myles Matsuno is an award-winning director and producer who works to inspire, educate, and motivate others through his films both on and off the frame.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Matsuno's award winning work is often recognized internationally for his unique approach to providing warmth and emotion through his visual images.
Within the past several years, Matsuno has had the opportunity to lead efforts in Technical Directing for The Academy Awards, ABC's hit television show Dancing with the Stars, NBA Finals, Country Music Awards, American Music Awards, and most of ABC's primetime programming. Since 2010' Matsuno has competed and won several awards throughout film festivals around the country. Some of his accolades include best directing, best editing, best cinematography, best film score, best sound design, and best film.
He holds true to core values and beliefs through his works and maintains a motto that his great-grandfather held, which is honesty and kindness is best in business.

Having a background in the fine arts, Matsuno attributes his creativity to personal experience, travel, and memories. Finding yourself and expressing it through a medium has always been his form of identity.

Along side film, Myles’ is a strong advocate for DEI and has helped produce commercial content for Diversity and Inclusion with brands like Spotify, Universal Music Group, Michelle Obama’s Civic Nation, and Running Organizations. In 2019, he was awarded Alumnus of the Year at his Alma Mater for the work he has done and helped others along with opportunities through the film program and students.
Matsuno believes that the most important aspect to his films is inspiration. Inspiring others in moments that can make a significant change in ones life. A great story comes from vision and help. Help from his family, friends, crew, and faith. He believes a great story provides an escape, a great story impacts, and a great story has the ability to change lives for the better.
