Mischa Hedges is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, and the Founder of TrimTab Media. He co-directed Ellavut Cimirtuq (Our World Is Changing) in a unique collaboration with Jacqueline Cleveland, a Yupik filmmaker based in Quinhagak, AK and Sonia Luokkala, a Finnish journalist based in Homer, AK.

Mischa Hedges is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, producer, director and marketing strategist. He specializes in telling stories about social and environmental issues that raise awareness and inspire people to take action. His recent films include: Ellavut Cimirtuq (Our World Is Changing), Finding Home, The Shepherd's Way, Women's March & Of The Sea: Fishermen, Seafood & Sustainability

Mischa is the Founder & Executive Producer at TrimTab Media, a creative agency that produces impactful documentaries and works with progressive brands and non-profit organizations to tell their stories and connect with their audiences. Since 2011, he has led TrimTab Media’s creative team in the development, production and editing of documentaries, branded content, marketing campaigns, live streaming & virtual events.

Mischa grew up amongst the redwoods on the Northern coast of California. He has lived and worked in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston, and currently resides in Santa Rosa, California with his wife, Lillie. He spends his free time exploring the outdoors: trail running, cycling, surfing, fishing and exploring the mountains, forests and coastlines of California.

Mischa holds a B.A. in Film Production from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University, an M.B.A in Sustainable Enterprise from Dominican University of California, and technical certificates from AVID Media Composer, Adobe Creative Cloud and Final Cut Pro.
