Elizabeth Herzfeldt-Kamprath is an independent documentary filmmaker. "Unbreathable: The Fight for Healthy Air" is distributed by New Day Films. As a visual artist and storyteller, Elizabeth brings a keen eye and a story-driven approach to the films she creates.
Elizabeth Herzfeldt-Kamprath has been producing and editing award-winning documentary films for over 10 years. Her most recent film, Unbreathable: The Fight for Healthy Air has been screened at film festivals across the country and in locally-focused screenings in nearly 20 states, inspiring conversation about air pollution issues in communities and the policy work that can be done to improve air quality for all.
Elizabeth earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Film & Electronic Media from American University in 2018 and completed her thesis film Under Her Wings, about Toni Lance and the St. Croix Avian Sanctuary.
As a visual artist and storyteller, Elizabeth brings a keen eye and a story-driven approach to the projects she is a part of. She has a background in stories focused on the intersection of the natural world and the human experience–from the devastating impacts of the oil industry in North America to the hopeful research being done on wildfires in the West.
